A new seafood spot will be opening in Egg Harbor Township next week and opening day donations are going to a great cause.

Sublime Seafood Company Modern Market and Grill will open on Tilton Road in the Produce Junction shopping center next Thursday, according to a statement from the company.

The opening celebrations will last from Thursday to Saturday and portions of sales will benefit the 31 Heroes Project, an organization that create programs, financial support systems and future opportunities for service members, veterans and their families, according to the press release.

The statement says that the company will offer soups, salads, sandwiches and entrees and will have a market attached where customers purchase fresh seafood.

Owner Chef Charles Soreth, a 20-year veteran who has worked in casino properties and area markets, said that he gives an alternative to traditional seafood diner platters.

“From homemade sauces to locally sourced vegetables and the best fish our area has to offer, we’re putting a creative spin to standard seafood recipes,” Soreth said.

The restaurant is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
