Rams Packers Football

Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers (12) and the Packers have averaged 26.6 points in their last five games.

While Christmas Eve will see the bulk of the Week 16 NFL games, there will be three matchups on Christmas Day to watch.

Now, how good those games will be is up for debate. Still, there are plenty of wagers to consider after all the presents are unwrapped.

FrontPageBets takes a look a one best bet for each of the games being played in this Christmas Day tripleheader.

Green Bay Packers over 22.5 total team points (-110)

The Green Bay Packers (6-8) are on a two-game winning streak to keep their slim playoff hopes alive.

A win against the Miami Dolphins on Christmas Day would go a long way for a Green Bay team that is averaging 26.6 points over its last five games.

In that same stretch, Miami, which has lost three in a row, is giving up 24 points per game.

The Dolphins (8-6) are still in the playoff mix as a wild card, holding on to that seventh-and-final spot.

Denver Broncos vs. Los Angeles Rams under 36.5 total points (-110)

This Christmas Day matchup between the two worst-scoring offenses in the NFL is the epitome of coal in your stocking.

The Denver Broncos (4-10) are last in the league in scoring, averaging 15.6 points per game, while the Los Angeles Rams (4-10) are second-worst at 16.4 ppg.

Despite this being played in LA’s SoFi Stadium in comfortable conditions, it won’t matter. Especially considering the Broncos defense is pretty good, giving up 18.1 points per game, which is third in the NFL. The Rams are also stingy on defense, giving up 22.9 points an outing.

No wonder this game will also air on Nickelodeon.

Arizona Cardinals +6 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-110)

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is the best to ever play the position. There’s little debate about that. But his performance against the spread this season will not be part of his Hall of Fame speech.

Brady and the Bucs are a league-worst 3-10-1 against the spread in 2022, including 3-8-1 when they are favored.

Tampa Bay wins on the road against the Arizona Cardinals (4-10) – keeping its lead in the NFC South despite a losing record – but the Bucs (6-8) won’t cover the 6 points.
