Watch as two local chefs face off in a culinary battle during the Community FoodBank of New Jersey’s Chef Challenge Thursday, April 20.
The organization’s southern branch in Egg Harbor Township will open its doors from 6 to 9 p.m. for an entertaining night of fun with food. Watch as Chef Kevin Kelly of Steve & Cookie’s by the Bay and Chef Stephan Johnson of Dock’s Oyster House race to create a meal using surprise special ingredients supplied by the FoodBank.
Judges for the evening include Chopped Champion Nick Palamaro of Union Square Café, Food Network Star Finalist Nicole Gaffney, Mady Deininger, founder and president of Kismet Wines, and Mark Callazzo, owner of Atlantic City Bottle Company and the Iron Room.
In addition to the culinary challenge, guests will be entertained with live music, munch on hors d’oeuvres, participate in a live auction, and sip on wine and cocktails.
Proceeds benefit the efforts at the FoodBank. The FoodBank is located at 6735 Black Horse Pike, Egg Harbor Township. Tickets are $150 and advance purchased is recommended. Go to CFBNJ.org.
