Events, music, theater, bargains, sports and amusements, there is something for everyone in Ocean City this summer. 19 Ocean City Fishing Pier Open House 6–8 p.m. The Ocean City Fishing Club invites shutterbugs and other visitors to tour its pier and clubhouse at 14th Street and the Boardwalk. Visitors are encouraged to make a donation of canned goods to support the Ocean City Food Cupboard.

JULY

20 15th annual Chip Miller Surf Fest. Family-friendly surfing competition for all ages with awards in each category. Register early; limited openings. 20 and 21 “Legally Blonde, The Musical” presented by the Ocean City Theatre Company. 27 “An Evening With Jon Dorenbos.” From football to magic, veteran Eagles long snapper Jon Dorenbos will perform tricks at the Ocean City Music Pier. 28 Meet and Greets with Maks Chmerkovskiy and Laurie Hernandez of “Dancing with the Stars.” Take a master dance class and participate in a Q&A with Chmerkovskiy. $65. 28 Night in Venice. The city’s annual boat parade, one of the largest in the world. Suggested theme: “TV’s Greatest Hits.” Starts at the Longport Bridge to Tennessee Avenue along the bay. Fireworks to follow. Start time 7 p.m. Grand marshal is Maks Chmerkovskiy of “Dancing with the Stars.”

30 Blues Traveler. Celebrating their 30th anniversary this year, Blues Traveler has a proven reputation for improvisational live shows. 1 “Bernstein/Robbins: A Centennial Celebration.” Composer Leonard Bernstein and director/choreographer Jerome Robbins are two of Broadways most legendary figures.
